Locked brakes after loading ASv6.5 and ASG
Recently I loaded FS9 and realized I had forgotten to start AS. I minimized FS9, loaded AS then maximized FS9. When I returned to FS9 the brakes (regular, not parking) label was showing. They were actually locked and I could not move the aircraft. I have minimized FS9 numerous times in the past and not had a problem like this. I also know that FS9 can sometimes get squirrly when it's minimized after startup so the problem may purely be FS9.
I have exited FS9 and restarted it it numerous times and the brakes continue to be locked on all but one out of 10 restarts. I've tried rebooting and reinstalled FS9 (without uninstalling) in hopes it might overwrite a corrupted file.
I've re-created the FS9.cfg file and tried editing some of the brake lines in the FS9.cfg file. Nothing has helped.
I have no idea why, the one time out of 10, that FS9 loaded with the brakes not lockedexcept that it occurred right after I defragged my hard drive and I got a good flight, but the next time I loaded FS9 the brakes were locked again. I've tried defragging again but that has not helped.
This happens with all aircraft.
I'm running FS9 on Windows XP Home.
Anyone got any ideas?
Thanks
Hi, I have never seen or read
Hi,
I have never seen or read of this anywhere in all my years of FS9 so I don't have any ideas.

Locked brakes solved
As speculated, it was NOT an AS thing. It was not really an FS9 thing.
In addition to Flight simming, I also do some real flying with R/C model airplanes. I have a Futaba Real Flight R/C simulator which has a controller that plugs into my computer's USB port. I usually use my printer port rather than crawling behind the computer to plug in another USB device.
Apparently, when the R/C controller is plugged in, it creates a conflict with my Logictech Wingman flightstick, causing the locked brakes.
When the condition cleared earlier, I had unplugged the R/C controller to do some printing. After an FS9 session, I reinstalled the R/C controller and the condition reappeared but I never put the two together.
I had done a number of searches on various FS9 sites but nothing appeared under "locked brakes" that matched my situation. Nearly all comments in reply to my postings suggested uninstalling and reinstalling FS9 which I really didn't want to do because of all of the add-on stuff I have.
Posting here was kind of a last ditch deperation move just hoping that someone using AS might have had this same problem.
After I posted here, I decided to do one last search at Flightsim.com. Scrolling through the search results, I found one that said "bizarre happenings." Don't know what made me take a look at it, but I did and there was the answer. Another guy had the same situation and had discovered the conflict. He just didn't title his post as "locked brakes" and I missed it in previous searches.
While I realize that this is not an AS problem, I thought it important to post the resolution since I had asked the question here.
Hi, Thanks for that and I
