QNH settings on active Sky v FSx
Hi Firstly i would like to say I am a real pilot so my knowlegde of what I am about to say is with a lot of thought behind real life ..
When running active sky evolution , eg Airport EGSS ( stansted UK ) the real weather is downloaded via your server and yes it looks ok , but when running fsx the QNH ( air pressure setting ) on the ground is not the same it vairies so much could the developers explain this , I have also tried it in Cape Town ( FACT ) South Africa , thinking it may be a proximity to another station thing but still happens this doesnt happen with Active Sky X only the new product
Im also finding the historic download a pain as it dosnt alow you to save it as well as it was in active sky x , why the change ? and also the icons on the main screen are so bad compaired to asx . man looks like yo have gone backwards in development !

Hi I have taken a snapshot of the settings as well as the variation of QNH as
well as weather on EGSS airport if you set yourself up with fsx and ASE rwy
05 , Just Before Taxi Way HE LAt n51;53.07 E0.14.05 And slowley run down
the runway by pressing the B keyboard button you will notice the qnh just 4mb
as well as a change in the weather pattern , I have also tested this by
creating weather eg rain at EGSS just before this point in the runway you
get clear weather then suddenly changes into rain taxi back and the rain
changes to origional weather , could you advise on how to fix this thanks

We do have to go to work and we do answer everything we can in 24-48 hours.
Please supply us with two examples of actual data where the baro pressure in ASE did not match what was shown in FS. We would like to know what AS was reporting and what FS was reporting.
With the change in historical weather we can supply constant historical data on the fly.
An update will be forth comming in the future. It will not change the way historical data is downloaded or the icons on the main screen.
