Dear Sirs,
have recently upgraded machines from XP and now running Vista 64BIT. am in the untenable process of placing all of my FS add ons in to the new machine.
AS6.5 with the update has been put in but everytime I run the program I get the following error message: Error accesiing internal components (Unencrypt step 4 -. Please run teh repair option via AS65.exe to replace the required files.
I can not tell you how many times I have ran the repair tool now, have also done clean install. Everything has been run as administrator.
Anybody shed any light on this issue, any help appreciated.

Hi,

Did you try right mouse clicking on the icon and Run.....As Administrator?
FS and AS installed outside of the Program Files folder?
Please let me know.

Hi Jim,
I removed AS6.5 from my computer and reinstalled it including the update in a folder other than the programs folder as you suggested. AS6.5 with the updatte seems to be operating well now.
I didn't move FS9 out of the programs file and won''t unless the problems appears again.
Just to recap, I'm running:
win 7 64 bit
FS9.1 (in C: x86 program files)
AS6.5 (in documents folder)
It all is working! Thanks for your support.
Best regards,
Michael

Hi Jim,
Thanks for your quick response! Yes I did the right click and run as an administrator. Both FS and AS are in the Program Files (86) Folder. This is the folder that older 32 bit pproograms default to with Win 7 64 bit I believe.
Thanks,
Michael
