Dual Boot, Dual Payment?

I have ASA purchased via SimMarket and run FS9 on Windows XP and FSX on Windows 7 (Same Machine, Dual Boot) now as their the all on the same computer legally its the system. However, as ASA "licence checks" it thinks their on different PC's now are you expecting me to pay twice, or is there a solution to this. Otherwise, I am in detriment as ASA features include working on FS9 and FSX together and if it was all on one OS then it wouldnt even be an issue. No other FS software I use has this problem.

Hi,

It's not a problem and you don't need to make another purchase. The computer name under each operating system must be exactly the same.

Thanks,

can't remember initial computer name for tripple boot system

Hi.

I have a similar problem but its more complicated so let me explain:
I purchased ASA about a year ago and installed it on my old computer under 3 different OSs:WinXP, WinXPx64 and WinVistax64bit. It worked for most of the time with no activation error messages. Then I Upgraded mobo, cpu and memory, formated all OS HDDs, performed new OS installations and reinstalled ASA on all 3 OSs. This time the 3rd OS was Windows 7 x64bit insteed of windowsVistax64. The other two remained the same i.e. WinXPx86(SP3) and WinXPx64(SP2). Now every 5-6 minutes a message comes up saying that "ASA has exeeded its installation limit and cannot be activated any more, please contact Hi-Fi Support" or something like that. Now don't ask me what was the computername on the initial installation - I can't remember :-(. Is there a workaround for my case? Because I am in really bad financial situation and can't afford to repurchase :-(. I have the serial number for my initial purchase but I don't want to post it in the forum. Please HELP! Greatly appreciated!! Thank You! my email is ioannis_anastasiadis@windowslive.com
