Active Sky X - Exception Received: 14

I recently installed Active Sky X (bundled with Active Graphics X).
I run them on a networked PC i.e. FSX is running on another PC.
Everything seems to work fine i.e. weather is updated in FSX. However, in the main screen where I can see the ASX log entries, I get alot of instances of the following message:
Exception Received: 14
No other information but just alot of these.
I already emailed support but over a week ago but received no reply.

Pretty sure I responded to your e-mail, as I remember your situation.
Double check and make sure your FSX folder and Application Data folder are shared with both read and write privileges enabled.

It does complain about not being able to access the FSX app data path but it all looks fine in terms of my setup.

I checked again and it all looks fine from a security/sharing settings point of view.
However, one thing I did change - just to see what would happen - I renamed the share from FSXAppData to FSXAPPDATA and this seemed to resolve the problem.
I don't get the exception any longer. Don't know if thats just a coincidence but it works fine now.
