Bad weather statiion report?

Hi

Hope you are enjoying the holiday period.

I spent the last 2 days wrestling with my latest flight VABB-EGLL. I started withe the PMDG 747 and got complete loss of control near the Pakistan border. I tried several times to complete the flight and got the same result every time with sudden increases of 3000 ft then sudden decrease followed by stall signals and chaos. Tried with ASA, REX and no weather at all and got the same results every time at the same place

Tried different route slightly west but still the same - although took longer to happen. Then switched to the PSS 777 and got exactly the same result at the same location.

Now abandoned the flight for the time being and doing a transatlantic with no problems at all

The question I have is wether theres a bad reporting station somewhere nearby and what can be done about it.

Or (joking only) is it the Talaban trying to broing down all aircraft crossing into Pakiastan airspace?

Seriously though is there a solution?

Thnx

Hi Mark, It could be bad

Hi Mark,

It could be bad data. The way to know for sure is to take a look at the AS Report screen and see if anything is out of the ordinary. We really can't try and filter out all bad data.

Thanks!

Hi Was not criticising anyone

Hi

Was not criticising anyone as I tried to make clear it happened in all situations and all weather engines incluiding FS9 own - so its probably down to bad reporting from the station itself.

I did see a post about settings for remote stations and thought I would try that but cant find out what to do - and can it be done for FS9?

Thx

John - sorry didnt sign properly last post

Hi, No, the additional

Hi,

No, the additional stations are for FSX only. No criticism detected at my end!

Thanks,
