Worth it the change ?

Hello,

I'm interested in buying ASA soon, but I have some questions for you (developers and customers).

I already own REX 2.0 and I think it's fine for most part except for the Low visibility bug (which is due to FSX engine) and some wind shear issues (FSX again).
Are these issues all resolved with ASA ? or at least overhauled ?
Could anyone post me a video showing a low visibility scenery ? (sudden cavok to low visibility transition).

Second thought is about the textures. How can I use REX textures with ASA ?
Is it easy to do ?

And, most of the time I fly in real weather conditions. No other complication.
Is it easy to start a flight without settings things up all times ?

Thank you.

Hi, We thank you for your

Hi,

We thank you for your interest in ASA.

1. As you noted these are FSX issues that developers all must work around. I don't have REX so I cannot compare their workarounds to ours.

2. 2 ways---load your REX textures into FS and then run ASA and FS, or use the Snapshot feature of ASA to have texture sets ready to load into FSX through ASA.

3. Yes, after you get things set up the way you like, you just start up ASA, FSX, and fly!

Thanks,
