Getting no lifting air in Fs9

ASA Build433, Windows Xp ...
Wx downloads and looks good, but no lift, either ridge or thermal. Do however, have turbulence.

Hi, I removed the other post

Hi,

I removed the other post just because we didn't need it and it was taking up too much space on this page, but thanks for including it.

On the ASA Wind Options Tab, have you adjusted the Automatic Thermal Generation % and the Terrain-based Up an Downdraft Generation %?

Are you flying in conditions that would normally produce lift?

IS FSUIPC set to Normal Defaults and Weather Settings Off?

Thanks,

Hi, thanks for the comeback,

Hi, thanks for the comeback, yes to all preceding questions, FSUIPC ver 3.90 (should I update it?).

Update:
With "Show Triggers=1" on in Fs9.cfg, I can see some thermals ARE being generated which ARE producing lift but there is no slope lift at all. I fly hangliders in real life so know where to expect the lift (and sink). I sometimes use the program CrossCountrySoaring2004 but don't see any conflict when its not activated (only has Soarrec.dll) in Modules folder). Thanks.

Quick question

Is the xgauge required for ridge lift? It didn't properly install in some of my panels...

Hi, No, XGauage is not

Hi,

No, XGauage is not needed. Are the conditions correct for ridge lift?

Remove that .dll and see if that makes a difference. All .dll's are loaded into FS when it starts.

Thanks,

Wind straight into a cliff at

Wind straight into a cliff at 20kts...

tried removing all non-fs9 dll's - no effect...
With "show triggers=1" on in Fs9.cfg, there are lift trigger boxes showing - even when thermal and updrafts are at 0 percent in ASA! What's with that?

The good news is, it seems CrossCountrySoaring2004 will run simultaneously with ASA.

Anybody else getting any ridge lift with ASA & Fs9?
