Failure of both ASX & ASA

This problem covers both ASX and ASA although it first came up in ASA as a result I decided re-install ASX followed by ASA.

Having re-installed ASX I decided to run it before upgrading to ASA.

ASA & ASX start and then I have a "Program Stopped working error message.
